Empowering English and Chadian Culture Advocates
We are an online platform committed to promoting the English language and celebrating Chadian culture. Based in N'Djamena, Chad, our center, Chad English Center, offers both online and in-person English courses, tailored to all levels. Our online channel, Chad English Show, is accessible on YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, where we consistently share valuable content aligned with our mission.
The Chad English Show was founded by three young visionaries—Saleh Mahamat Nour, Abakar Brahim, and Ababa Malloum Patcha Kandjé—who connected through their shared passion for the English language. Saleh Mahamat Nour and Abakar Brahim are both excellent speakers, with Saleh particularly known for his fluency in English. Their oratory skills, combined with our mission, enable us to easily bring together the Chadian English-speaking community to engage in meaningful discussions about various societal issues in Chad.
Ababa Malloum Patcha Kandjé, one of our co-founders, is a true genius in information technology. He plays a crucial role in creating the beautiful videos we share across our platforms and is responsible for building and maintaining our website. Essentially, everything related to technology is handled by Ababa, allowing us to present our content in the most professional and engaging manner.
Since our inception, we have empowered over 1,000 young people with English language skills, and we continue to promote the importance of English among the younger generation. Our center is not only a place for learning but also a community hub. We welcome English speakers, whether Chadian or international, to volunteer in our English clubs. These interactive sessions, held every Saturday at 8 AM, 10 AM, and 4 PM, provide a dynamic environment where participants can practice and enhance their language skills.
Our influence extends to media coverage as well. We have been invited on multiple occasions by the U.S. Embassy to cover significant events such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day and U.S. Independence Day. Additionally, the Chad English Show has been an official media partner for the Dary Festival on several occasions, a prestigious event that highlights and promotes Chadian culture.
Together, we form a remarkable and powerful team, dedicated to our mission. As a landlocked country, Chad must expand its connections to the global community, and we firmly believe that mastering the English language is key to breaking down barriers and enhancing our nation's international presence.
Beyond education, we are deeply involved in humanitarian efforts. Through the Chad English Show, we have supported the NACI (a network of young Chadian students in the United States) in raising approximately $11,000 to aid flood victims in Walia and surrounding areas. We are also proud partners of Voice of Hope, an organization dedicated to helping those in need. Together, we have executed several impactful projects, including distributing school kits to children and organizing a successful clothing drive to provide essential garments to those in need.
